Biography
Dr. Galván’s work is broadly focused on identifying key neural circuits that are disrupted in children and adolescents with developmental disabilities. She uses magnetic resonance imaging, functional magnetic resonance imaging, and behavioral methods to address questions regarding typical and atypical brain development.
Most recently, she has focused her efforts on elucidating neural correlates of cognitive control and inhibition in children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Tic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Social Anxiety Disorder.
