Biography

Dr. Wiedau-Pazos specializes in clinical care for ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease) patients and heads the ALS research laboratory at the UCLA Department of Neurology. She seeks to discover mechanisms that underlie the degeneration of motor neurons, how these systems can go awry in ALS, and how new therapies can be developed.
